The Basics
- The first appointment often takes about 1.5 hours
- It begins with an oral cancer screening and includes a complete dental and periodontal examination
- The more complicated your oral health is, the longer it takes to documented it, so your appointment could take a little longer
- Once the examination and documentation are completed, and depending on the treatment plan that has been agreed to, the dental cleaning is done.
